Jonathan Harlen was born in New Zealand and has worked as a scriptwriter, comedy writer and journalist, as well as being a well-known writer of children s books. His numerous publications include Ziggy & The Plugfish, The Cockroach War and Circus Berzerkus, and he has been awarded CBCA Notable Book twice, in 1992 and 1994. Jonathan lives on the NSW Far North Coast with his wife and children. ILLUSTRATOR Information Tom Jellett has been illustrating books since graduating from the University of South Australia in 1995. His picture books include Australia at the Beach by Max Fatchen, My Yellow Blanky by Sofie Laguna and The Goat, The Duck and the Bale of Hay by Rachel Flynn.
