Twice elected to the U.S. Senate from Oklahoma, Fred Harris is now Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. He is the author of numerous works of fiction and nonfiction, including his most recent novel, Following the Harvest.

Alan Curtis was born in Rhondda, Wales, in 1954 and played for Swansea City, Leeds United, Southampton, Cardiff City and Wales during his 18-year playing career. He is currently a coach at Swansea City.

Rodolfo O. de la Garza is Eaton Professor of Administrative Law and Municipal Science, Columbia University; Deputy Chair of the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs; and Vice President of the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute. Louis DeSipio is associate professor in the Departments of Political Science and Chicago/Latino Studies, University of California, Irvine. David L.
