Kate Ledger received an M.F.A. in fiction from the University of Arizona, and worked for several years as the senior writer at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. As a freelance writer, her articles have been published in Self and Health and other national magazines. She lives in St. Paul, MN, with her husband and children.
