Before joining the church staff in 2011, she worked in the corporate world and used her passion for equipping and developing emerging leaders on COR's Spiritual Gifts Team, Leadership Development Team, and Committee on Lay Leadership. Yvonnenbsp;is co-author of Serving from the Heart ,nbsp; Leadership from the Heart , Leadership Essentials , and Serving from the Heart for Youth . She has led workshops relating to equipping ministries on both the local and national level.Yvonne and her husband Frank live in Overland Park, Kansas, and have a son and a daughter.

Carol Cartmill is Executive Director of Adult Discipleship at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection.
