Kelvin Seifert has over thirty years of experience teaching and publishing in educational psychology and developmental psychology, including several years as an early childhood education teacher and as an early childhood curriculum consultant for the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Currently he teaches courses in early years education, learning theory, and qualitative research methods. In addition to presenting at numerous scholarly conferences in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain, Seifert is the author of Child and Adolescent Development 5/e (Houghton Mifflin) and Lifespan Development 2/e (Houghton Mifflin), as well as the author of more… than fifty publications related to aspects of early childhood development and of teacher education for early years education. He is the editor of the online journal, Canadian Journal of Educational Administration and Policy.
