Corbett Lunsford (RESNET QAD; BPI BA/EP/HP/AC/MFBA/Installer) started a home performance testing company with his wife just as the Great Recession was starting, and has learned a lot from the school of hard knocks. He vividly remembers feeling stressed out and alone as technical and business challenges loomed. Corbett would really like for you to learn from his mistakes and succeed wildly in the business of home performance with the help of great mentorship and excellent training. Corbett is now the senior trainer at Green Dream Group's Building Performance Workshop (a BPI affiliate), and hosts the Building Performance Podcast. He also serves as Executive Director of the Illinois Association of Energy Raters & Home Performance Professionals, and as the Educational Programmer for Efficiency First Illinois. He has led courses in partnership with municipalities and weatherization organizations, and developed the curriculum for the Chicago Southland EPA Brownfields Job Training Program. In addition to the hundreds of high, middle, and low-income comprehensive home performance testings he has performed, Corbett has presented at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Better Buildings: Better Business Conference, the Center for Green Technology, Green Festival, and the National Healthy Homes Conference.
