When the past ruthlessly intersects with the present, Scotland Yard's Superintendent Duncan Kincaid and Sergeant Gemma James are not immune to the consequences. When the body of a young woman is found in an East London park, Kincaid and James discover this case has roots in the past, and resentments that should have been buried decades ago still have the power to hurt -- and to kill.
