Larry Day is an award-winning illustrator of over twenty picture books. He is the recipient of the 2007 Golden Kite Award for best picture book illustration for Not Afraid of Dogs . And he received two gold medals and a silver medal for art direction from the Society of Illustrators in 2006.Miriam and Larry both live in Oak Park, Illinois.
