Beth Henschen currently teaches at Eastern Michigan University and is a public policy consultant. After receiving her PhD from Ohio State University, she served as a faculty member at Purdue University and at Loyola University Chicago, where she was frequently recognized for teaching excellence and was named Professor of the Year by the Honors Student Association. Her primary research focus has been judicial politics, and her articles have appeared in AMERICAN POLITICAL SCIENCE REVIEW, POLITICAL RESEARCH QUARTERLY, AMERICAN POLITICS QUARTERLY, JOURNAL OF LAW & POLITICS, POLICY STUDIES REVIEW, and LEGISLATIVE STUDIES QUARTERLY, as well as COLLEGE TEACHING, and THE JOURNAL OF GENERAL… EDUCATION. She also has contributed chapters and articles to a number of edited volumes and has presented papers and delivered presentations at numerous professional conferences.
