Clella Jaffe received her B.A. from Seattle Pacific University, and her M.Ed. and Ph.D. from Oregon State University. She did additional graduate work at the University of Washington. She has taught communication courses at George Fox, St. John's University (Queens), and Oregon State University. Her widely-selling public speaking text emphasizes diversity. For many years, she taught oral interpretation of literature and coached and judged forensics competitions. She currently serves as chair of the communication department at George Fox University, Newberg, Oregon.
