Kristen Ober, MA MFT is a California State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Reiki Practitioner. She began her career in the mental health field in Orange County in 1998. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a Minor in Addictive Disorders and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology in San Diego while she worked in Residential Treatment facilities for men and women battling substance addictions. In her sixteen years of counseling experience, Mrs. Ober has worked with a variety of populations in a variety of settings. She has counseled individuals in inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization and day treatment settings. She currently… runs a Private Psychotherapy Practice in Dana Point, California, where she uses her knowledge base and intuitive skills to help individuals heal from past traumas, release negative belief systems and break unhealthy patterns. She is a firm believer in holistic mental health and uses Reiki and biofeedback in conjunction with traditional psychotherapy.
