Greg Harvey is a prolific author of personal computing books that are highly informative, yet entertaining and easy to understand. Harvey earned a B.A. in classics and American history from the University of Illinois in Urbana in 1970. He moved to San Francisco the following year and worked as a draftsman on civil engineering projects for the next 10 years Harvey became interested in the growing computer field in the early 1980s.
