Lenore Hart was born in Florida. She has earned degrees from the University of Central Florida, Florida State University, and Old Dominion University. Hart's fiction, memoirs, poetry, essays, and reviews have appeared in publications including The Apalachee Quarterly, Chesapeake Life, Kalliope, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and Tidewater Women. Hart has lectured and offered workshops at Florida State University, the Cape May Institute, The United States Naval Academy, George Mason University, Eckerd College, Old Dominion University, and The New College in Sarasota, Florida among other institutions. Hart's work has been featured on Voice of America, in Poets and Writers Magazine, and on the… PBS television series Writer To Writer.
