Robert Bernard Reich is a writer, educator, politician, and advisor. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1946. Reich earned his B.A. at Dartmouth College in 1968 and received a Rhodes scholarship to attend Oxford University, where he earned his M.A. in 1970. In 1973, he received his J.D. from Yale University. Reich was an assistant to the Solicitor General in the U.S. Department of Justice from 1974 to 1976. He directed the policy planning staff of the Federal Trade Commission from 1976 to 1981 and taught on the faculty of Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government from 1981 to 1992. He became the 22nd Secretary of Labor in 1993 under President Bill Clinton.…
