Milton M. Azevedo is Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of California at Berkeley, where he also helped create and directed the Catalan studies program. He is associate editor of the JournalHispaniaand published extensively on Portuguese linguistics, applied linguistics, translation studies, and literary linguistics.
