Gary Aitkenwas an Associate Professor in the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Trent University. His areas of expertise include second-language acquisition and the history of the Spanish language. He has presented conference papers and published articles on language methodology and classroom dynamics. nbsp; Anna Saroliis a professor in the Department of Languages and Literatures at Acadia University. Her research interests include the language, culture, and music of the Quechua-speaking peoples of Peru; J.M. Arguedas; language pedagogy; and Andean music and popular culture.
