Sue Peterson lives in a small Utah town at the base of the Wasatch Front mountains. She is married to her hero, Jack, and they are the parents of six daughters (the SixChix), who are producing a nice flock of grandchildren. She has published short stories, spent ten years teaching journalism to sixth-grade students, and wrote plays for the drama students she wrangled for five years. She writes ridiculous poetry for her children on their birthdays, and blogs for posterity. Sue was born and bred a homemaker and lives to play house. Currently her interests include refinishing furniture, haunting thrift and antique stores for diamonds in the rough, and repurposing what some may call junk into… what she deems jewels. The Mourning Run is her first book.
