Amy Krouse Rosenthal is the author of adult and children's books. Her works include the memoir Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life and picture books Little Pea, Little Hoot, Cookies: Bite-Size Life Lessons, Duck! Rabbit!, Spoon, and The OK Book. Her essays and articles have appeared in The New York Times, Hallmark Magazine, Parenting, O: The Oprah Magazine, and McSweeney's. She is also the host of the radio show Writers' Block Party on WBEZ Chicago Public Radio.
