Allan Gerson received his doctor�ate of juridical science at the Yale Law School. He practiced law in New York and subsequently taught at the New England School of Law. He is the author of num�erous scholarly works, including Israel, The West Bank and the Rule of International Law. Since 1977 he has been with the U.S. Department of Justice in Wash�ington, D.C.
