Karen Harrisis a customer service representative for a local telephone company. She has been an avid reader and has had an interest in English literature since high school. Harris lives in Porcupine, a small Northern Ontario mining town, with her husband and two sons.
Laura P. Hartman is Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at DePaul University and is responsible for coordinating Academic Integrity for the university. She is also a Professor of Business Ethics and Legal Studies in the Management Department in DePaul’s College of Commerce, where she has received the university’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and serves as Research Director of DePaul’s Institute for Business and Professional Ethics. Her academic scholarship focuses on the ethics of the employment relationship with a primary emphasis in the areas of global labor conditions and standards, corporate governance and corporate culture, and the impact of technology on… the employment relationship. Hartman graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University and received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. She lives in Chicago with her two daughters, Emma and Rachel.
