Morton A. Kaplannbsp;is Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science Emeritus at the University of Chicago, and was editor and publisher of TheWorldandI.com, and founding president of the Professors World Peace Academy. He was also chairman of the Committee on International Relations at the University of Chicago, and a member of the Hudson Institute.
