Sue McCauley is a journalist and a writer of children's books, novels, short stories, and scripts for film and TV. McCauley's 1982 novel, "Other Halves," was an autobiographical story and won the Goodman Fielder Wattie Book Award and the New Zealand Book Award in Fiction. It was also adapted into a 1984 film. Her satire, "The Upward Mobility of Gordon Reddy," was produced by Radio New Zealand in 1998 and was a finalist in the 1998 New Zealand Radio Awards.
