Saxophonist and composer Mario Cerra began attending Berklee College of Music in 1998 after being awarded a B.E.S.T. scholarship. During his tenure at Berklee Mario was presented with both the prestigious Joseph Viola Award and the Woodwind Department Achievement Award. Since graduating Summa Cum Laude with a major in Performance, Mr. Cerra has been intensely traveling and performing worldwide. Between 2003 and 2007 Mario was based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he rose to be one of the country's most sought-after bandleaders, sidemen, recording artists and music educators. Mr. Cerra has performed at several international Music Festivals and on numerous commercial recordings. Currently Mario resides in Boston, MA, where he has established himself as a performer and music educator. He is a faculty member at Brookline Music School, Sharon Music Academy, and theMaking Music Matters! Program.Composer and pianist Ariel J. Ramos is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been performing, teaching piano, and working with independent filmmakers since 1997. He is a first place recipient of the Cluzeau-Mortet piano competition and was awarded the Berklee Writing and Composition Scholarhsip.Ariel Ramos is author of a wide array of books in the mDecks Series including UST Jazz Piano Voicings collection, Reconstructing a Bach Fugue, and Piano Technique Vol. 1. In addition, Mr. Ramos has composed soundtracks for countless films and TV series including Warner Bros's Terminator: The Sarah Connors Chronicles and Pushing Daisies (TV series IDs for Latin America). Ariel's studios and offices are now located in South Florida where he composes music for film, TV and chamber music, and arranges from small ensemble to full orchestra. Beyond his writing of books and his prolific composition Ariel also is a highly sought after pianist, performing jazz, latin and chamber music in South Florida. Finally, Mr. Ramos is a renowned piano, theory and composition educator.
Composer and Pianist Ariel J. Ramos has been performing, teaching piano and working with independent filmmakers for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston.Ariel Ramos started his career as a pianist. In 1997 he moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music. In 2000 he founded DreamTracks, Music for Film and Multimedia. He is now established in Florida composing music for film, TV and chamber music, arranging from small to large ensembles and performing jazz, latin and chamber music in the area. He is an experienced piano, theory and composition teacher.
