Norman Bridwell, February 15, 1928 - Norman Bridwell was born on February 15, 1928 in Kokomo, Indiana. He attended John Hennon Art Institute from 1945 til 1949 and went on to Cooper Union Art School from 1952 til 1953. After graduating, Bridwell remained in New York, working first as a messenger for a lettering company and then as an artist designer for Raxon Fabrics Company from 1951 til 1953. After that, he spent 3 years with H. D. Rose and Company as an artist, before becoming a freelance artist in 1956.
