Klaus Pohl holds a full professorship for Software Systems Engineering at the Institute for Computer Science and Business Information Systems (ICB) at University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany and an adjunct-professorship at the University of Limerick, Ireland. From 2005 to 2007 he acted as the funding scientific director of Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre. He received his Ph.D. and his habilitation in computer science from RWTH Aachen, Germany. His research interests include requirements engineering, service-based system engineering, software quality assurance, and software product lines.Chris Rupp (General Manager, SOPHIST GmbH). After 15 years of active involvement in the field of systems engineering I have: achieved one company, published 6 books, hired 40 employees and gained experience. Because of my passion for project consulting, up to now I'm not "only" managing, governing, and bringing people forward, but I have been also trying going closer to the customer by working in -or leading- projects. The vision that guides me is to put good ideas into practice in a way that gives developers, contract partners and users the feeling that they are dealing with a sophisticated, elaborate and beneficial product.
