If you've ever tried, failed, and wondered why, you need How People Change. This book explains the biblical pattern for change in a clear, practical way you can apply to the challenges of daily life. But change involves more than a biblical formula: You will see how God is at work to make you the person you were created to be. That powerful, loving, redemptive relationship is at the heart of all positive change you experience. Book jacket.

Paul Tripp is driven by the desire to place the truths of the Gospel---the person and work of Jesus Christ---in the middle of the messy and confusing situations and relationships in which every person lives. Paul received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Episcopal Theological Seminary. He is currently a member of the pastoral staff of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, where he preaches on Sunday evenings and leads the Ministry to Center City. Paul is also Professor of Pastoral Life and Care at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, Texas and has taught at respected institutions worldwide. A counselor for many years, Paul has been married for 38 years to Luella, with whom he has four grown children. Luella manages a large commercial art gallery in the city and Paul is very dedicated to painting as an avocation.
