Edwin M. Dyer, born 1969, has studied military technology for over 20 years, concentrating on weaponry from 1914 through 1960. In 1999, he created the Hikoki:1946 website, highlighting Japanese experimental aircraft. In his spare time, he is a World War 2 reenactor, attending public events with his extensive militaria collection throughout the spring and summer seasons. He is currently serving in the United States Civil Air Patrol with the rank of Master Sergeant.
