Description:

Kitemarked by the TTA`This book is suitable for those who lack confidence rather than competence, for although it covers "the basics", it has a brisk pace which is not ideal for teachers who are simply weak in the subject. It is particularly useful as a revision guide, rather than as an introductory text…. Coordinators / upper year teachers may find several sections very worthwhile - e.g. data collection and averages; the chapter on algebra, proof and reasoning. Tasks and practical exercises are included throughout the book. Worth buying a copy' - Primary Mathematics`If you work through the book you will have a pretty thorough understanding of the maths involved' -Curriculum…
