Eric Wilder grew up about a mile from fabled Black Bayou in northwest Louisiana and began listening to ghost stories and tall tales at an early age. Author of ten books, including the French Quarter murder mystery Big Easy, he is presently working on the final edit of his newest mystery titled A Morning Mist of Blood, and is writing his latest New Orleans mystery called City of Spirits. He now lives and writes in Edmond, Oklahoma along with his wife Marilyn, daughter Katelyn, three dogs and two cats.
