Robert Trager is professor and associate dean in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His teaching areas are communication law, freedom of expression, and media institutions. Among Trager's publications are articles, chapters, and books concerning freedom of expression, libel, telecommunication regulation, media management, and First Amendment rights of students. He was founding editor of a law journal, Communication Law and Policy.
