Nagueyalti Warren is Associate Dean and adjunct professor in African American Studies at Emory College of Emory University. She is co-editor of Southern Mothers: Facts and Fictions in Southern Womens Writings (LSU Press 1999). Warren has contributed numerous critical essays and book chapters on African American literature and Womens writings in particular. A poet herself, Warren is a Cave Canem fellow and currently working toward an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College.
