Steve Dobbs is an award-winning horticulturist, educational garden writer, and lecturer. He shares his gardening advice in the monthly garden column "Heartland Gardening" for Oklahoma Living magazine and a featured weekly column "Oklahoma Roots" for The Daily Oklahoman newspaper. His expertise has been featured in several publications including Better Homes and Gardens, OSU Magazine, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and Oklahoma Today. He was the host and producer of Oklahoma Gardening from 1990 to 1995, a show selected by the Garden Writers of America as the Best TV Gardening Program in the Nation in 1992.
