Melanie Joy is a social psychologist, professor, and personal coach. She has been involved in the animal liberation movement since 1989 and has worked as an activist, educator, and organizer. She teaches Psychology and Sociology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Saybrook Graduate School and a Master�s Degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
