Brenda Mitchell is a member of New Light Christian Center Church under the leadership of Bishop I. V. Hilliard and Pastor Bridget Hilliard. After viewing a Christian television broadcast that Bishop Hilliard was airing, she gathered the directions to the church and joined that very day one Sunday morning in 1988. Brenda Mitchell serves as a greeter who also is a graduate of Hilliard Vocational Bible Institute (H.V.B.I.). A mother of three wonderful children, step - mother, grandmother and great - grandmother, Brenda Mitchell is pursuing her dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and conference host. Above all else, she takes most pleasure in answering a clarion call to intercede in prayer for… others that are facing trials, whether sick, hurting or feeling hopeless. Her favorite scripture is Mark 11:22 - 24.
