Therapist Craig Nakken was educated at Metro State University and the University of Minnesota, where he received his M.A. from both schools. Nakken has provided training in treatment centers in Sweden, and has lectured at several colleges and universities. He is also past vice-president and therapist at the Family Therapy Institute of St. Paul, Minnesota. Nakken helps people understand the power of addiction in his book, The Addictive Personality: Understanding the Addictive Process and Compulsive Behavior.
