Dean J. Seal has a masters degree in theology and the arts and a master's of divinity from United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, Minnesota, where he was the Susan Blons Scholar for Integrating Theology and the Arts. For several years he was the producer of the Minnesota Fringe Festival. He has written scripts for Comedy Central and HBO, and was a writer for Garrison Keillors A Prairie Home Companion. He continues to write, produce, and act in theatrical productions in a variety of venues, including churches, in the Minneapolis area.
