Brianna Baker was born in Glyndon, Maryland near Baltimore, where she has lived her entire life. Currently a senior at George Washington Carver Center for the Arts and Technology, she is enrolled in the Literary Arts prime. She enjoys writing every genre under the sun, including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. She has won a "Gold Key" award from the 2013 Scholastic Art and Writing competition for a personal essay, as well as a merit award from both the 2014 and 2015 YoungArts competitions for her poetry. Among her completed projects are two short plays, a short film, and a collection of poems.
