Raised in Miami, Florida, and Indianapolis, Indiana, Janine Soucie Kelley is a Catholic writer whose characters intersect at an ethical crossroad. Her writing honors her French Canadian mother Frances, who brought her seven children to the Irvington Branch Library in Indianapolis on Saturday mornings to discover the heaven of books, and her father Arley, whose ancestors emigrated from Ireland with stories and dreams.Janine, an award winning poet and playwright, is a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
