Jorge Eliecer Garnica-Watson is originally from San Andres Isla, Colombia. He came to the United States with a scholarship from the Cordell Hall Foundation. He has a master's degree in school administration and a specialization in public administration from the San Jose State and the ESAP respectively. Although he is fluent in both Spanish and English, his native language is Bende, a Caribbean dialect. He has previously published two books: "Administracion y Docencia, un Conflicto Innecesario" and "Challenged Values." Mr. Garnica-Watson, who is an avid reader, currently lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife, where he works as the HR and safety director of a construction company.
