When her children traveled abroad ( her 2 sons in the Merchant Marines and the Army and her 5 daughters married to military husbands) they would purchase unique teapots from all over the world to add to her collection. They were the perfect gift because she cherished them so. She would number and label the bottom of each to keep them organized.
