He has received over 30 honors and awards in recognition if his contributions to chemical engineering.Richard Dennis Vigil is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University, where his research focuses on aggregation kinetics, adsorption kinetics, multiphase fluid dynamics, flow through porous media, surface reaction kinetics, nonlinear dynamics, and particulate processes.
