James Ogden is a ranger and chief historian for the National Park Service at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. Ranger Ogden has taught many courses on the Civil War including a class at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and has appeared on several History Channel and PBS specials.Monty McCord is a retired law enforcement officer and graduate of the FBI National Academy at Quantico, Virginia. He served as a deputy sheriff in two counties before retiring from the Hastings, Nebraska police department as a lieutenant. McCord is president of the Adams County Historical Society and a member of the Nebraska Writers Guild & Western Writers of America.
