This book brings you through the different aspects of running a healthcare facility. To be a successful manager, you need to understand the fundamentals of the roles of the staff within the healthcare facility. By understanding the fundamentals, you can then teach your staff, train new personnel, and monitor or audit procedures that occur in every day practices. The book takes a two-tiered approach to each topic, and organizes each unit into two chapters. The first chapter in the unit reviews the fundamentals of that department or area, while the second chapter provides the tools to manage that department or area. With today's healthcare environment so highly regulated and governed with rules, a manager also needs to be knowledgeable not only in the basics of the position but in the vast rules and regulations governing today's and tomorrow's needs.
