Sonja R. de Boer, Ph.D., B.C.B.A., is a behavior analyst and educational consultant for early intervention services for children with autism spectrum disorders. She trains educators and parents to provide intervention and oversees the implementation of education and inclusion programs within schools. Sonja de Boer presents regularly at national conferences and provides trainings at schools across the nation.

Deborah E. Griswold is Project Coordinator in the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas. Her interests and research are in autism spectrum disorders, emotional and behavior disorders, and disability and the link to delinquency and adult incarceration. She received her doctorate from the University of Kansas.

Mitzi Beth Curtis is an autism resource specialist in Minnesota and serves as an adjunct instructor for Hamline University's autism certificate program. She has worked in special education, supported employment, and residential programs for individuals with disabilities since 1978. Her youngest sister, Maria, sent her on this journey with her birth in 1963.
