Description:

LIFE THEMES is a drama anthology of 12 plays that is available to complement THEATRE IN YOUR LIFE or any Cengage introduction to theatre textbook. Edited by Robert Barton and Annie McGregor, this anthology provides complete scripts for the 12 plays that are discussed in THEATRE IN YOUR LIFE's "Dramatic Interlude" sections. The anthology mirrors the Interludes with six themes: love, war, generations, rebellion, dreams, and values. Each theme includes an introductory paragraph on the topic and why dramatists are drawn to writing about it. For each play, the editors have provided historical context, a brief biography about the playwright, and suggestions for further study.
