Dr. Susie H. VanHuss, Retired Executive Director of University of South Carolina Foundations and Distinguished Professor Emerita of Management of USC, previously served as Professor and Head of the Management Department in The Moore School of Business. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her MBA and Ph.D. degrees from Indiana University. Her teaching specialties include business communications, administrative systems, and personnel management. Dr. VanHuss is a prolific author who has received a Gold Book award commemorating the sale of a million copies of one of her textbooks. She has written numerous journal articles and has served on the editorial review boards of several leading business education journals.
Dr. Connie M. Forde is a full professor in the Department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development at Mississippi State University. She currently serves as curriculum coordinator for the Technology Teacher Education and Information Technology Services undergraduate degree programs and advises master?s and doctoral students in the instructional technology programs. Dr. Forde also serves as the faculty advisor of Pi Omega Pi, the honorary society for business teacher education. Prior to joining the MSU faculty in 1987, Dr. Forde served as a business teacher at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi. She is coauthor of the College Keyboarding series published by… South-Western/Cengage Learning, as well as numerous word processing and integrated computer applications simulations. Dr. Forde is also a recognized speaker at state, regional, and national conferences, as well as a frequent contributor to the professional literature. Additionally, she has directed 32 dissertations and served on numerous dissertation committees. Dr. Forde is recognized as a leader in her profession, having served as chair of the Foundation for the Future of Business Education for several years.
Dr. Donna L. Woo is an Instructor and Department Coordinator for Information Systems/Office Automation for Cypress College and Associate Director of Education at Pacific College. She received her B.A. and M.A. in Business Education form Michigan State University and earned her Ed.D. from Nova University. Dr. Woo is a Kellogg Fellow and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Delta Pi Epsilon national honorary societies. Her industry experience includes work for both IBM and General Motors. A respected author, Dr. Woo has written several word processing textbooks and has served as a coauthor on several editions of South-Western College Keyboarding textbooks.
