John Lucht, John Lucht earned his Bachelor's degree and his Law degree from the University of Wisconsin. After college, he went on to work in general management or marketing with Bristol-Meyers, J. Walter Thompson and Tetley Tea. From there he became an officer at Heidrick and Struggles in New York where he was a recruiter for senior executives. In 1977, Lucht began his own recruiting company, The John Lucht Consultancy Incorporated, located in New York. He is the author of "Rights of Passage," a book on changing jobs on the executive level.
