Born in Gimli, Manitoba, Michael Olito is a visual and performance artist. He was photography editor for David Arnason's The Icelanders, co-authored The Best Possible Face: L.B. Foote's Winnipeg with Douglas Smith, and is the author of the acclaimed novel, Atli's Tale.

Gerry Kopelow is a widely published veteran photographer specializing in architectural photography and photography of the performing arts. His textbooks on photography, which include Architectural Photography the Digital Wayand How to Photograph Buildings and Interiors, are distributed worldwide and are respected as definitive works in the field. He lectures at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the Cooper Union School of Architecture in New York, while operating a photography studio in Winnipeg. John K. Samson is the lead singer of the Canadian rock band The Weakerthans. Doug Smith has written more than ten non-fiction books, most recently, Big Death: Funeral Planning in the Age of…
