Happily married with three brilliant children, I am a fifty something retired cop. I love to read; almost anything. Particular favourites: James Lee Burke, Elmore Leonard, Alafair Burke, Sophie Hannah.I love sport. I played Football,Cricket and Basketball at a high level for years and years, hence the dodgy joints. I spent the first six years of my working life as a registered nurse and have never worked as hard since. I spent the last six years conducting police mentoring in Iraq and armed protection in Afghanistan. I had an accident out there. Broke my finger, collar bone and shoulder. Had a weird experience being knocked out with Ketamine in a French Military hospital in Kabul, might… write about it one day. (Ketamine in Kabul?). Might tell some other tales too. I am currently at home in Woking, UK. Half a mile or so, beyond the Pales.
