Leslie Kimmelman has written nearly 20 well-regarded children's books, including several that feature Jewish themes and celebrations. She also contributes to Sesame Street Workshop productions. Cynthia Jabar majored in biology and chemistry in college but later turned her attention to art, studying illustration at the Rhode Island College of Design. She has since illustrated 25 children's books.
Nancy Cote is the writer and illustrator of It Feels Like Snow, Palm Trees, and Flip-Flops, an American Bookseller's "Pick of the Lists." She is also the illustrator of Mrs. Fickle's Pickles by Lori Ries; Tap-Dance Fever by Pat Brisson; The Can-Do Thanksgiving by Marion Hess Pomeranc, a Society of School Librarians International Honor Book; The Borrowed Hanukkah Latkes by Linda Glaser, a Smithsonian Notable Book for Children; and Fireflies, Peach Pies & Lullabies by Virginia Kross, an IRA-CBC Notable Children's Trade Book. She lives in Somerset, Massachusetts, with her husband and three children.
